📢 Call for Applications for the Selection of an External Auditor -- HERITAS Project – Interreg NEXT Italy–Tunisia
As part of the implementation of the HERITAS project – Enhancing Cultural Heritage through Participatory Citizen Pathways and the Creation of Community-Based Tourism Routes, Animed SARL, the Tunisian partner of the project, is launching a call for the selection of a Tunisian external auditor.

This notice aims to identify a qualified Chartered Accountant or accounting firm to carry out the audit of HERITAS project expenditures incurred in Tunisia by Animed and its partner CAWTAR, in compliance with national regulations and the requirements of the Interreg NEXT Italy–Tunisia Programme.

🎯 Purpose of the Assignment:
The selected auditor will be responsible, on a semestrial basis, for:
– Verifying and certifying the HERITAS project expenditures incurred by the Tunisian partners;
– Producing the audit reports required under the Interreg NEXT Programme;
– Ensuring that expenditures comply with the Programme rules and national regulations.

👉 Eligible Profiles:
The following may apply:
– Individual Chartered Accountants;
– Accounting firms,
Â
Provided that they:
– Are members of the Tunisian Order of Chartered Accountants;
– Appear on the official list of the Control Contact Point (CCP);
– Have proven experience in auditing cooperation projects/programmes.

Joint applications (consortia) are permitted, provided that a lead applicant is designated.

 Participation in this Call for Expressions of Interest does not constitute a formal call for tenders nor a guarantee of contracting. Animed reserves the right not to proceed with the procedure if no proposal deemed acceptable is received.
